-I- Electric Generating Plant c  : I24688-C 16 Date Approved METEOROLOGICAL STATION 10NlAMBIENT AND 10-60M DELTA Page Number 09/27/05 TEMPERATURE CHANNEL CALIBRATION .3of 71 1.0 PURPOSE 1.1 The purpose of this procedure is to provide instructions for a Channel Calibration of Meteorological Station 1OM Ambient and 10-60M Delta Temperature Loops.

1.2 The performance of this procedure satisfies 10M Ambient and 10-60M Delta Temperature Channel Calibration Surveillance Requirements of VEGP Technical Review Manual TRS 13.3.3.2 Table 13.3.3-1.

13 SCOPE 1.3.1 When this procedure is performed for scheduled Channel Calibration, the following sections shall be used: 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0.

1.3.2 When this procedure is performed for maintenance, the following sections shall be used: 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 5.0 and appropriate subsections of 4.0.

2.0 PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS 2.1 Steps in this procedure may be performed out of sequence only:

2.1.1 With prior approval of the cognizant supervisor. D 2.1.2 If they do not violate the intent of the procedure. u 2.1.3 If they are documented in the "Comments" section of the "Completion Sheet". 0 2.2 Performance of procedure steps, as identified by a double asterisk (t) 3 shall be used when recording data on Data Sheet.

2.3 Any calculations necessary for the performance of this procedure shall be shown on "Calculation Sheet". 0 2.4 The control of lifting wire(s), opening link(s), fuse(s) or jumper(s) will be performed per this procedure. 0 2.5 Guidelines of Procedure 20429-C "Plant Equipment Component Configuration Control" will be used for tagging of wire(s), link(s), fuse(s),

Cook Vogtie Electric Generating Plant i24688-C 16 Date Approved METEOROLOGICAL STATION 10M AMBIENT AND 10-60M DELTA Page Number 09/27/05 TEMPERATURE CHANNEL CALIBRATION t4 of 71 2.6 If this procedure is completed and temporary jumper(s) must remain installed and/or lifted wire(s) cannot be reconnected, a Temporary Modification Request must be completed per Procedure 00307-C, "Temporary Modifications". 0 2.7 This procedure may be performed in any plant operational mode. 0 2.8 If, during performance of this procedure, any of the following occur, immediately notify cognizant supervisor: 0 2.8.1 Any personnel error, procedure inadequacy, or malfunction is identified which could prevent fulfillment of "Acceptance Criteria". 0 2.8.2 Any test exceeds specified limits. u 2.9 If necessary, when maintenance is being performed on the Met Tower instrumentation located in the battery room at the Met Tower, obtain an insulated blanket from the tool room to cover the battery banks while work activities are being performed. Remove covering when work is complete (Do not leave batteries covered for more than one shift). 0 3.0 PREREQUISITES OR INITIAL CONDITIONS 3.1 TEST EQUIPMENT NOTE

  • Environmental (temperature, humidity, etc.) compensation for M&TE accuracies may need to be considered.

A/D adjustments made for CH1 will affect both CH1 and CH2.
