This report is being submitted in accordance with 10CFR26.71 for the reporting period July 2007 through December 2007. The information contained in the attachment is based on statistical data compiled by means of the GGNS Fitness for Duty Program.

Fitness for Duty Program Six Month Performance Report July - December 2007 PROGRAM

SUMMARY

The Grand Gulf Nuclear Station annual random testing rate is 50 percent. During this reporting period, approximately 29 percent of the population has been randomly tested. The rate of positive tests from random testing is 0 percent. The total random percentage for the year is 54 percent.

POSITIVE RESULTS:

One Pre-Access sample confirmed positive during this reporting period for cann abi noid.

MANAGEMENT ACTIONS:

Unescorted Access was not granted to the individual that tested positive during Pre-Access testing. Management was notified and the individual's file was annotated to reflect the positive result.

No For-Cause tests were conducted during this reporting period.

Six individuals were in the Follow-up testing process during this reporting period.

EVENTS REPORTED TO THE NRC:

During this reporting period, there were no violations of the fitness for duty program that were reportable.

PROGRAM EVALUATION:

No programmatic problems were identified during this reporting period. An NRC Inspection was conducted in October 2007 with no violations.
