g - \ Q License No. DPR-35 Docket No. 50-293 PNPS Proposed Technical Specification Changes

Dear Sir:

Pursuant to 50.90 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations, Boston Edison Company hereby proposes the following modifications to Appendix A of Operating License No. DPR-35. The desired changes are represented as Attachments A-D to this letter and in accordance with 10 CFR 170.22, " Schedule of Fees for FacilityJ.icense Amendments", these changes are proposed as Class II types.

Accordingly, a check for the amount of 54,800 will be forwarded to your office within 14 days of the date of this letter.

We are also reviewing our Technical Specifications to identify additional surveillance testing for various time delay relay circuits, which may be appropriate in terms of system level trip function, ie., HPCI/RCIC time delay trip. ATWS RPT/ARI etc.
