, LED-0358 The procedure and the existing operating procedure of the bleed steam and the heater drain Jy 'em is not affected by the design change. Work will be performed in the tu:tL.e building at floor elevation 100 ft., a non saf ety related area. , LED-0368 Design change required to expand operational surveillance of data. No I safety inplications. lEC-0388 This change to stainless steel flex tubing in no way alters the performance of the pumps. It does improve the reliability of operation as the rigid . monel tubing which it replaces was subjected to fretting. 1EC-0429 This is a safety related change and will provide redundant indication for ! the 11-14 Steam Generator Pressures, 11-14 steam generator levels, pressur-l izer level, and pressurizer pressure by locating the new cables and - , associated items in non-similar channel designations. The change does not. alter the existing function of the Hot Standby Panel but only adds redundancy. Existing safety analyses are not affected. 1EC-0459 This change adds additional alarm capability. The alarm functions are buffered from the other analog and bistable functions, and as such reliab-

ility is not affected.

lEC-0486 The providing of fire dampers and/or fire coating as required and accepted the NRC, provide increase safety from fires, does not affect any presently performed safety analysis nor does it create any new safety hazards. The bases of the Tech'1 Specifications are not affected, j lEC-0488 This change is not safety related and does not affect safety related equip-ment. This provides indication for new fire dampers in the closed position, lEC-0519 This change does not impair safety function, decrease safety margin or jeopardize safety analysis. These changes are being made to minimize motor cooler maintenance. lEC-0549 This change is a direct replacement for an existing system. The design is a technical improvement to give the operator a broader scope of information. 1Ec-0563 This change is safety related and.does affect safety related systems. This is an upgrade on the existing inverter system. This also improves relia-bility and does not alter safety function. There is no UEQ involved with this DCR as all work is confined to the aux. building. lEC-0583 Design change does not significantly alter existing construction and there-fore does not constitute an unreviewed safety question. 1EC-0717 USQ is not involved as system design is not affected. l 1ET-0912 The modification to this system does not affect presently performed safety analysis not does it create any new hazards. The system is not a safety related system. The basis of the technical specification remains unchanged. lET-0913 The modification to this system does not affect presently performed safety analysis nor does it create any new hazards. The system is not a safety related system. The basis of the technical specifications remains unchang-ed. lEC-1001 The changes involve modifications to the service air, DM water, instrument air and water heater piping and provision for pressure gauge connections on the Resin transfer piping. These changes do not involve unceviewed safety questions. Their installation does not constitute any new hazards not previously analyzed. No UEQ is involved. IEC-1009 This DCR modifies the means by which the steam generator tube lane blocking devices are secured. The original design intent has not been affected nor has an USQ been created. 1EC-1024 The existing design for the control of valve IS53 allows the valve to open automattically upon reset of the SSPS tripping signal to the valve. This would violate the containment isolation integrity. This design change will remedy this problem without changing the function of the valve. No UEQ is involved, becuase it does not increase any discharges to the environment.

IKD-0049A This change involves the potential replacement of RPI cables on the top of the reactor with the same or better type. These cables are classified non-safety related. Therefore cn unreviewed safety question is not in-volved. I 1PD-0113 Change to improve operator cognizance of strainer operation. Non-safety

l related system. 1PD-0168 System change involves the addition of information available to operating personnel. No functional change. 1SC-0141 This DCR does not affect the program source code. It affects only the job l control language as necessary for the program to access Unit 2 files. No new hazards are created nor are any presently analyzed accidents aggravated. 1SC-0244 This DCR alters only the Hot Channel Factor normalized curve envelope. It does not affect plant shutdown capability. No new hazards nor are any presently analyzed accidents aggravated. The basis of the tech specs were changed based on Westinghouse Safety Reanalysis for Salem 1 due to fuel

cycle 2.
