NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Advisory Committee on the Medical Uses of Isotopes has scheduled meetings March 24-25 in Rockville, Maryland.

The committee will discuss revisions to the proposed rule on the medical use of byproduct material, the analysis of comments on the draft rule, and issues regarding prostate implant therapy.

The meetings, which are open to the public, will be held in the Two White Flint Auditorium 11545 Rockville Pike, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. the first day, and from 8:00 a.m. until noon the second day.

Those wishing to provide a written statement should notify Mary Louise Roe, at 301-415-7809. Other aspects of the meeting, including opportunities for questions, will be described in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register.
