January 8, 2014 MEMORANDUM TO THE PARTICIPANTS IN: TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY (Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2)
DOCKET NOS. 50-327-LR and 50-328-LR This is to inform the participants that Commissioner William C. Ostendorff will tour Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. This is a routine site visit to obtain a general familiarity with the facility. The Commissioner will not engage in any substantive discussion during the site visit about any of the issues that have been raised in the ongoing adjudication associated with the license renewal application for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2.
Also on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, Commissioner Ostendorff will meet with representatives of the Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League (BREDL). This meeting will focus on issues of general concern to BREDL and will not include any substantive discussion of contested issues.
