The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) received your request through the Service's internet-based Information, Planning, and Conservation (IPaC) decision support system on January 25,2011 at 1 :24 PM. You requested information on federally proposed or listed threatened and endangered species, candidate species, and designated critical habitat that may be affected by your proposed project, referred to as "GSTR License Renewal", as depicted on the enclosed map you generated on the IPaC system. Please reference the project name, GSTR License Renewal, and our tracking number, 2011-SLI-0262, in future reference to this project to assist in expediting the process. These comments have been prepared under the authority of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (ESA), as amended (16 U.S.C. § 1531 et seq.). Based on the best available information, including information you provided through the IPaC system, scientific and technicalliterature, and our own files, the Service provides the enclosed species-list for you to use in meeting the requirements of section 7(c) of the ESA. This list is also available for download from our website at the following address: http://www.fws.govlMountain-PrairielEndSpp/CountyLists/Colorado.pdf Please use the list for Jefferson County as a basis for determining federally listed, proposed, or candidate species potentially present in the project area. Newer information based on updated surveys, changes in the abundance and distribution of listed species, changed habitat conditions, or other factors could change this list.
