On April 26, 2013, Entergy Operations, Inc.(Grand Gulf Nuclear Station)submitted Reference 1 requesting approval of a change to the required frequency of Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement 3.7.7.2, pertaining to the Main Turbine Bypass System.On December 3, 2013, a teleconference was held between staff from the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station and the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation's Department of Operating Reactor Licensing to discuss the performance history of TS SA 3.7.7.2.After further consideration, Grand Gulf hereby requests withdrawal of Reference 1 from NRC review.There are no new commitments in this letter.If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Mr.Christopher R.Robinson at 601-437-7326.
