This is a normal process that occurs following every restart. One of ni nae bypass valves failed to close, which forced us to take .the unit off line and investigate.

The unit was taken off line yesterday afternoon.

Following the rea ctor scram, the bypass valve that. remained in the open position did close. A team has been assembled to Understand why the va~lve beha ved in this manner and take the appropriate corrective actions.
