By letter dated December 21, 2004, NEI submitted NEI 04-01 to facilitate the discussion withNRC concerning the information needed to evaluate a combined license application(ADAMS Accession Number ML050110295). Enclosed is a table (ADAMS Accession No.
ML051930012) which includes NRC staff first-round comments on portions of NEI 04-01. TheU.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) plans to issue additional first-round commentletters on NEI 04-01, Revision D, with the goal of issuing a complete set of first-round comments by the end of June 2005. Each comment has been numbered such that the NRCcan track its resolution.
