| Description | Unit 2 TS 3.4.3 required that 10 of 11 SRVs shall be operable during Modes 1, 2 and3. Contrary to this, on July 1, 2008 it was determined that during bench testing two SRVs setpoints had drifted high and one SRV setpoint had drifted low. All three setpoints were outside the requirements of technical specifications. The cause of the high setpoint drift was corrosion induced bonding of the pilot seat and the low setpoint drift was due to a reduction in spring force. This condition was documented in CR 2008107088. This violation is of very low safety significance because a previous evaluation performed by the licensee bounds this condition and RCS pressure would be maintained below the TS safety limit |
