(Black Fox Station, Units 1 and 2) ) Motion for An Extension of Time On April 19, 1979, the Attorney General of the State of Oklahoma filed a motion styled " Motion of the State of Oklahoma For An Indefinite Stay In The Issuance Of An Initial Decision In the Above-Captioned Proceeding". The Answer of Public Service Company of Oklahoma, Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc., and Western Farmers Electric

               .

Cooperative, Inc. (Applicants) is due May 4, 1979. Appli-cants hereby move the Licensing Board to enter an Order ex-tending the time for filing its Answer to Friday, May 11, 1979. In support of the Motion, Applicants state that since the Attorney General's Moticn was filed on April 19, 1979, Counsel has been engaged full time in the drafting of Applicants' Reply to the findings of fact and conclusions of 2357 048 7906080/l4i G

   .
 .
.g law proposed by Intervenors and the NRC Staff. The Reply was filed on April 26, 1979. In the ensuing six working days to May 4, 1979, Counsel is and will be occupied with the press of a number of matters, including contract discussions with the Department of Energy, that require immediate atten-tion. These matters will consume and erode the time needed to respond adequately to the Attorney General's Motion. A one-week time extension will relieve this problem.

Counsel has been authorized by Assistant Attorney General Rogers and counsel for the NRC Staff and Intervenors to state they have no objection to this Motion. Counsel for - the NRC Staf f requests that the time for filing their answer be similarly extended to May 11, 1979. Intervenors do not require an extension since their answer was filed on Friday, April 27, 1979.

     '

For good cause shown, Applicants request that the motion be granted. Respectfully submitted, osep Gallo One of the Attorneys for the Applicants April 30, 1979 2357 049
