Dear Mr. Freeman:

On December 31, 2009, the NRC staff complete~d its annual inspection of the Emergency Preparedness Program at Seabrook Station. This inspection began on January 1, 2009.

Issuance of this letter closes Inspection Report 05000443/2009501. Inspection activities charged to this report include conducting mid-cycle/end of cycle assessment activities, responding to technical questions from resident inspectors or licensee personnel, and, in some cases, performing traditional enforcement activities. Any observations and findings in this area were provided to you via separate correspondence.

On December 31, 2009, the NRC staff also completed its annual inspection of the Security Program at Seabrook Station. This inspection began on January 1, 2009. Issuance of this letter closes Inspection Report 05000443/2009401. Inspection activities charged to this report include conducting mid-cycle/end of cycle assessment .activities, following up on Suspicious Incident Database (SID) reports, responding to technical questions from resident inspectors or licensee personnel, and, in some cases, performing traditional enforcement activities. Any observations and findings in this area were provided to you via separate correspondence.
