- 1. An affidavit from AREVA NP, Inc. was included in Reference 1 that identified the AREVA proprietary information.
Subsequent discussions between PPL and the NRC identified that the affidavit required revision to include the address of the affidavit executor and the method used to mark the proprietary information.
Therefore, the revised affidavit, which includes the requested additional information, is included as Attachment 1 to this letter.A typographical error was also noted in Enclosure 2 to Reference

- 2. I am familiar with the criteria applied by AREVA NP to determine whether certain AREVA NP information is proprietary.
I am familiar with the policies established by AREVA NP to ensure the proper application of these criteria.3. I am familiar with the AREVA NP information contained in Enclosure 1 to a letter to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from Mr. Britt T. McKinney (PPL Susquehanna, LLC) entitled, "Susquehanna Steam Electric Station Proposed Amendment to Unit 2 License NPF-22: MCPR Safety Limits," dated October 2008 and referred to herein as"Document." Information contained in this Document has been classified by AREVA NP as proprietary in accordance with the policies established by AREVA NP for the control and protection of proprietary and confidential information.
Proprietary information in Enclosure 1 is enclosed by brackets [J. Enclosure 2 is the non-proprietary version of the information.
- 4. This Document contains information of a proprietary and confidential nature and is of the type customarily held in confidence by AREVA NP and not made available to the public. Based on my experience, I am aware that other companies regard information of the kind contained in this Document as proprietary and confidential.

The request for withholding of proprietary information is made in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
