2 INTRODUCTION Operation Oswego County, Inc. is a non-profit economic and job development corporation, and the designated economic development agency for the County of Oswego. We have a simple mission in serving the people of our county:

To establish and implement sound economic development strategies in order to enhance the economic vitality of Oswego Countys businesses, industries, and citizens, leading to an overall better quality of life.

Our primary objectives are the creation and retention of job opportunities, business diversification, strengthening our economic base, and the development of the local economy in a planned, organized, and environmentally friendly atmosphere.

The Oswego County Industrial Directory is designed to meet the ongoing need for information pertaining to our local industrial base, and provides detailed information on industrial or industrial support firms located within the County of Oswego in Upstate New York.

Our directory contains three sections: Section I is an alphabetical listing of industrial firms in Oswego County.Section II provides a listing of those industrial firms in Oswego County distributed by their respective NAICS code. [Please note that the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) replaces those systems used in Canada, Mexico and the United States with a single, uniform system, and includes additional, modern classifications of industry, and that the former Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) information is identified for each company in Section I of this directory.] Section III contains a listing of Oswego County firms that are affiliated with a parent company.
