Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2014-13, Planned Licensing ActionSubmittals for all Power Reactor Licensees, dated December 17, 2014,requested licensees to provide information regarding the licensing actionsthat are planned to be submitted to the NRC staff for review over the next 3calendar years and power uprate applications planned over the next 5 years.The requested information is strictly voluntary.

The NRC staff plans to usethe information in allocating its resources for licensing reviews.Arizona Public Service Company (APS) supports the objective of the RIS inpromoting early communication with the NRC staff regarding plannedlicensing activities.

Enclosure 1 of this letter is a listing of planned licensing actions over the next 3 years for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station(PVNGS) Units 1, 2 and 3 and Enclosure 2 of this letter is the Annual PowerUprate Survey for PVNGS Units 1, 2 and 3.APS requests that the contents of Enclosure 2 be withheld from publicdisclosure, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390. The NRC has waived the affidavit requirements on its own initiative, since the response to the survey containsbusiness-sensitive information, the disclosure of which is likely to causecompetitive harm and should, therefore, be classified as proprietary information.
