. ROBERT NILSEN SENIOR POWER ENGINEER NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION, 'UNIT 2 STONE 5 WEBSTER ENGINEERING CORPORATION My name is Robert Nilsen. My business address is Stone & Webster 2 Engineering Corporation, 225 Franklin Street, Boston, Massachusetts. I am presently an Assistant Project Engineer on the Nine Mile Point Unit 2 pro-4 ject for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation. In this capacity, I am in charge 5 of licensing and nuclear engineering activities for the Stone 5 Webster areas of responsibility.

I attended Drexel University from 1957

to 1961, receiving a Bachelor Since then I have taken graduate courses in Nuclear Engineering, and attended on a full-time basis the ten-month 10 Westinghouse Reactor Operators Training Program.

From 1961 to 1969, I held various positions with Public Service Elec-tric 5 Gas Company of New Zersey, related to the operation of power plants.

13 I joined Stone 5 Webster in 1969, and between 1969 and 1972 have held positions as a nuclear systems engineer and licensing engineer at the Maine 15 Yankee Atomic Power Pl'ant, head nuclear engineer in the Rome Point Nuclear Power Plant, and special assignment to the Fulton Nuclear Generating Station.

In the summer of 1972, I was assigned to the Nine Mile Point Unit 2 project as an assistant project engineer. In this capacity, I have been

23 I am a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of New York, Rhode 24 Island, and Pennsylvania. I have completed the requirements for a Reactor 25 Operator's License from the Atomic Energy Commission.
