Mohawk Power Corporation, Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Post Office Box 32, Lycoming, New York. I am presently General Superintendent of 4
Nuclear Generation far the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation.
In this capacity, I am in charge of the overall operation of both the Nine Mile 6
Point and James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plants.
Previous to this 7
assignment, I was Station Superintendent of the Nine Mile Point Nuclear 8
Station.
9 I attended the University of Buffalo from 1939 to 1947, receiving a 10 13 14 15 18 certificate in engineering.
Since then, I have taken courses in Nuclear Technology, Basic Radiological Health and Industrial Management.
Until 1949, I held various positions at Niagara Mohawk's C. R.
Huntley Generating Station, including the position of Assistant Results Superintendent.
From 1949 to 1963 I was Station Superintendent for Niagara Mohawk's Dunkirk Steam Station, a 624 Mw steam plant.
During this time, I was responsible for the start-up of all four units at the Station.
From 1963 to 1967, I was assigned to the Project Engineering Department of Niagara Mohawk, where I participated in the design of the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Plant, assembled personnel for the plant, and

23 During 1965 and 1966 I received eight months of on-the-job training at Big Rock Point and ZVZSR.
'rom 1967 to 1972, I was Superintendent of the Nine Mile Point 24 Nuclear Plant.
I had the primary responsibility..for bringing that plant 25 from the construction phase to'full power operation, and now have identical 26 responsibility for the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Plant.
In addition, I I
27 participated in the design review for the FitzPatrick Plant, as I am now 28 doing fo'r Nine Mile Point Unit 2.
29 I am a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
80 I hold a Reactor Operators License from the Atomic Energy Commission.
