| Re: St.Luci e Unit 1 Docket No.50-335 Proposed License Amendment Radiological Effluent Technical Specification In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, Florida Power 8 Light Company submits herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating License DPR-67.Florida Power 81 Light submitted proposed Amendments to Appendices A and 8 of St.Lucie Unit 1 Technical Specifications on March 15, 1979 (L-79-61)and August 23, 1979 (L-79-232).

| The proposed amendments were for changes to the facility's Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications (RETs)pursuant to NUREG 0472.On March 4 and 5;1982 we met with representatives of the NRC and its contractors to review the proposed amendments.

Re: St. Luci e Unit 1 Docket No. 50-335 Proposed License Amendment Radiological Effluent Technical Specification In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, Florida Power 8 Light Company submits herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating License DPR-67.
Florida Power 81 Light submitted proposed Amendments to Appendices A and 8 of St. Lucie Unit 1 Technical Specifications on March 15, 1979 (L-79-61) and August 23, 1979 (L-79-232). The proposed amendments were for changes to the facility's Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications (RETs) pursuant to NUREG 0472. On March 4 and 5; 1982 we met with representatives of the NRC and its contractors to review the proposed amendments. The attached is the results of our review transmitted for the review and approval by the NRC as agreed upon at that time.
We request that these proposed amendments be approved effective January 1, 1983. This will allow us to effectively coordinate the implementation of the new Environmental Protection Plan and the pendi ng Technical Specifications for St. Lucie Unit 2. The additional time will also be necessary to allow for procedure writing and personnel training.
The proposed amendment is described below and shown on the acompanying Technical Specification pages bearing the date of this letter in the lower right hand corner.
