REPORT FOR THE RELICENSING APPLICATION FOR THE PRAIRIE ISLAND INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION RELICENSING During the week of November 6, 2012, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and their contractor staff met with local and State representatives of Minnesota. The purpose of these meetings was to gather information to assist NRC and its contractor in the development of its environmental reviews and to provide information to these organizations on the renewal application for NRCs site-specific license SNM-2506 filed on October 20, 2011, by Northern States Power Company for the Prairie Island Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation. Enclosed is a summary of each meeting and a list of participants.
