This letter is an update on the status of testing at Underwriters Laboratories on DOW CORNING @ 96-081 RW Adhesive / Sealant and SYLGARD@ 170 Silicone Elastomer. On Tuesday, April 4, actual fire testing of the materials began Testing will conclude May 5, 1995. A final report will be issued at the end of May. While results to date do not indicate any difference in performance, it is still too early in the testing to draw any final conclusions.
