Enclosed for your information is the synopsis of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Office of Investigations

= (OI) completed report regarding an allegation of discrimination for reporting safety concerns.

OI determined that there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation that a former FPL Health Physics technician was discriminated against for reporting safety concerns. We plan no further action with regard to this matter. Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact us.

- OI Investigation Information Case No. 2-2012-006 SYNOPSIS This investigation was initiated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of Investigations (OI), Region II (RII), on December 14, 2011, to determine whether a Health Physics (HP) Technician, at the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant (Turkey Point) was discriminated against for raising safety concerns.

Based upon the evidence developed during this investigation, OI:RII did not substantiate that a Health Physics (HP) Technician was discriminated against for having raised safety concerns.
