Dear Dr. Hawari:

As part of your application for renewal of Facility Operating License No. R-120, dated February 24, 2017 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML17088A819), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff reviewed the North Carolina State University (NCSU) Emergency Preparedness Plan, dated March 29, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17088A833).

We have completed our review of the NCSU Emergency Preparedness Plan and concluded that it remains compliant with the regulations and guidance below:

  • Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.34, "Contents of applications; technical information," paragraph (b)(6)(v).
