Dear Mr. Edington:
From May 21 to May 23, 2013, inspectors from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Region IV office will be onsite to perform the Temporary Instruction (TI)-186, "Inspection of Procedures and Processes for Responding to Potential Aircraft Threats." In order to minimize the impact to your onsite resources and to ensure a productive inspection, we have enclosed a request for documents needed for this inspection. It is important that all of these documents are up to date and complete in order to minimize the number of additional documents requested during the preparation and/or the onsite portions of the inspection. Also, in order to demonstrate compliance with TI-186, we ask that you have the necessary staff members available to the inspection team to assist in any plant walk-throughs, interviews, and/or simulator demonstrations.
