COMMISSION NOTIFICATION OF SIGNIFICANT LICENSING ACTION Consistent with the Commissions policy on notification of NRC adjudicatory bodies and all parties of information on issues in cases before the Commission, counsel for the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff (Staff) hereby informs the Commission and the parties that, on or about February 23, 2016, the Staff proposes to make a final no significant hazards consideration determination and issue a related license amendment to Entergy Nuclear Indian Point 2, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (the licensee). This action is being taken in response to Entergys license amendment application dated December 9, 2014,1 as supplemented by additional letters,2 and will modify Facility Operating License No. DPR-26 for the Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit No. 2 (IP2). Specifically, the license amendment will revise IP2 Technical Specification 5.5.14, Containment Leakage Rate Testing Program, to 1

COMMISSION NOTIFICATION OF SIGNIFICANT LICENSING ACTION 
extend the frequency of the containment integrated leak rate test from once every 10 years to once every 15 years on a permanent basis.
Final versions of the final no significant hazards consideration determination and license amendment will be available through the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). When final versions of the documents are available, counsel for the NRC Staff will notify the parties and provide them with the ADAMS Accession Numbers for the documents.
