L-2018-164 10 CFR 50.36 10 CFR 50, Appendix E 1. FPL letter L-2018-081 dated March 29, 2018: Periodic Update of Population Data Within 10 Miles of the Plant By letter dated March 29, 2018 (Reference 1), FPL submitted L-2018-081 with population estimates for the area surrounding the St. Lucie Plant in accordance with Section N of Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50, 10 CFR 50.36 and St. Lucie Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications 6.9.1.9 and 6.9.1.10.
L-2018-081 acknowledged that the population within the St. Lucie Emergency Planning Zone has grown enough to trigger a full Evacuation Time Estimate (ETE). As per federal regulations, the full ETE update has been completed and is attached.
