PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT
Title:
Public Meeting to present the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) recently completed and near-term actions related to the February 3, 2021, event at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) test reactor.
Date(s) and Time(s): August 16, 2022, 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM ET Location: NRC One White Flint North, Commissioners Hearing Room 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
The purpose of this public meeting is for the NRC to present information related to the confirmatory order issued on August 1, 2022 (ML22206A213), and to discuss the upcoming planned inspection activities outlined in the inspection plan issued on August 1, 2022 (package ML22206A008). This meeting is a follow-up to the March 16, 2022, public meeting, which focused on the special inspection team report. Time will be provided to allow members of the public to ask NRC staff questions.

When the transmission rate is high, mask wearing is required, regardless of vaccinations status, within NRC buildings.
