s' Attachment I to NRC-99-0078 Page 2 Abstract of Revision 14 to the Fermi 2 Improved Technical Specification Submittal Revision 14 to the Fermi 2 Improved Technical Specification (ITS) submittal incorporates issues j remaining from NRC review of the ITS. Revision bars are provided to aid in identification of the i changed material. For those changes associated with an RAI, the RAI number is included with j the revision bar.
Minor corrections are included in this revision. These changes consist of various format, spelling, labeling, and editorial enhancement and/or technical changes typically identified during i implementation preparation. The revision bars for these changes are, except where noted, marked with a circled "A".
The following lists specific changes in Revision 14:
ITS 3.3.3.1 Discussion of Change (DOC) A.6 has been modified to remove an unnecessary ;
sentence as requested by the NRC reviewer.

ITS 3.3.4.1 DOC A.4 has been clarified based upon discussions with the NRC reviewer.

For ECCS Instrumentation, the required number of channels per function has now been included in the ITS. Associated Bases changes have also been made. l

ITS 3.3.5.1 DOCS A.10 and M.1 have corrections for references to Actions.

ITS 3.3.6.2 DOC L.2 has been clarified based upon discussions with the NRC reviewer.

Action B ofITS 3.3.6.3, LLS Instrumentation, has been restructured for clarity. The previously proposed Action B.1 has been split into two actions.
The ISTS markup for Table 3.3.2.1-1 has been corrected to correspond with the CTS markup and clean typed ITS.

The ISTS markup for ITS 5.7.3 has been changed to reflect the clean typed ITS. This results in the elimination of DOC A.4.

The ISTS markup for note b to Table 3.3.1.1-1 has been modified to reflect the clean typed ITS.

The clean typed definition of Channel Functional Test has been corrected to correspond with the ISTS markup.
In response to RAI S3.6.2.4-1, the ITS now includes a specification for the Suppression Pool Spray system. This specification was provided in Revision 11 to the ITS submittal.
