Dear Jay Horin:
By letter dated February 27, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession Number ML24067A128), as supplemented October 30, 2024 (ML24304A902), February 28, 2025 (ML25062A093), and May 30, 2025 (ML25150A298),
Robatel Technologies, LLC (Robatel) submitted an application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the approval of model RT-200 cask type B(U) package. In the application Robatel requested that the NRC review Robatels Safety Analysis Report, revision 0, and approve a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for the model RT-200 cask type B(U) package.
Enclosed is CoC No. 9384, revision no. 0, for the Model No. RT-200 cask type B(U) package.
The staffs safety evaluation report is also enclosed.
The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 71.17 and 49 CFR 173.471.
In accordance with 10 CFR Part 2, Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html. The PDR is open by appointment.
