LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, UNIT 2 - CORRECTION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION PAGE 3/4 3-11 IN AMENDMENT NO. 225 (EPID L-2019-PMP-0058)
Dear David Rhoades:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has identified typographical errors in the technical specifications issued in Amendment No. 225 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML24204A071) to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-85 for the Limerick Generating Station (Limerick), Unit 2. The NRC staff is issuing this letter to correct the errors per the guidance in the NRC memorandum dated January 16, 1997 (ML103260096), which is derived from the Staff Requirements Memorandum (SRM, ML003754054) for SECY-96-238 (ML20134M324).
By letter dated July 29, 2024, the NRC staff issued Amendment No. 225 and its related safety evaluation for Limerick, Unit 2 in response to the license amendment request from Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (the licensee) dated June 13, 2024 (ML24165A264), as supplemented by letter dated July 19, 2024 (ML24201A166). The Limerick, Unit 2 technical specification page 3/4 3-11 enclosed in Amendment No. 225 contained inadvertent typographical errors (i.e., the incorrect prior amendment numbers appeared in the footer and the page was transposed from landscape to portrait format). To correct these errors, the NRC staff is re-issuing Limerick, Unit 2 technical specification page 3/4 3-11 to correct the list of prior amendment numbers and to transpose the page to landscape format.
The NRC staff determined that these editorial corrections to the technical specifications do not change any of the NRC staffs conclusions in its safety evaluation regarding the acceptability of the changes approved in Amendment No. 225 (the safety evaluation did not address the amendment numbers or page format), nor do the corrections affect the applicable no significant hazards considerations published in the Federal Register on June 25, 2024 (89 FR 53124).
Accordingly, the enclosure to this letter has a copy of the revised and corrected Limerick, Unit 2 technical specification page 3/4 3-11.
