Dear DFM Director,

On March 14, 2023, I requested that you review the attached Czech Republic Certificate of Approval No. CZ /100/B(U)F-96, Revision 0, for the SKODA VPVR/M transport package loaded with TRIGA and MTR fuel assemblies as listed in the MTR TRIGA certificate and make a recommendation concerning our revalidation of the package for import and export use. On March 20, 2023 and December 14, 2023, you requested additional information to complete your acceptance and review of the package design.

While our applicant responded to our requests, both our organizations found the ir response to be incomplete. Accordingly, our applicant has decided to withdr aw their application reserving the right to resubmit a complete design package later.

I thank you and your staf f for the time and effort expended on this case. If you have any questions or need any additional regarding this ap plication withdr awal, please feel free to contact me at (202) 697-1301 or via email at Rick.Boyle @dot.gov.
