SHINE Medical Technologies, LLC - Environmental Assessment for Construction Permit Amendment No. 3 Attachments: SHINE CP EA Construction Permit Amend No 3.docx
- Mark, The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is issuing an environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact regarding SHINE Medical Technologies, LLCs request to amend Construction Permit No. CPMIF-001 for the SHINE Medical Isotope Production Facility located in Janesville, WI. The license amendment request seeks NRC approval to extend the latest date of facility construction and change SHINEs name to SHINE Technologies, LLC. The proposed action would amend SHINE Construction Permit No. CPMIF-001 to extend the latest date of construction from December 31, 2022 to December 31, 2025. The draft environmental assessment is attached.
The NRC plans to issue the amended construction permit by Order in late October to early November 2022. Please let me know if you have any comments or want to have a discussion regarding the EA.
