October 26, 2022 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission ATTN: Document Control Desk Washington D.C. 20555-0001 With input from our Reactor Safety Advisory Committee, we have reviewed and revised the Emergency Plan for the AGN-201M reactor located at the University of New Mexico, Docket 50-252.

Changes in the document are reflected in the companion Change Log. Most changes are of an administrative or editorial nature and are intended to keep the information in the documents current with respect to organization names, titles, offices, etc. The most significant technical changes in the Emergency Plan relate to Section 5.0(B), Emergency Action Levels for situations that involve abnormal levels of radiation, where we have adopted effluent concentrations based on ALI / DAC rather than the antiquated MPC in accordance with ANSI-15.16(R2020).

If you have any questions or comments, please let us know.

Sincerely, Carl Willis Chief Reactor Supervisor (505) 412-3277 Email: CarlWillis@UNM.edu cc: Edward Helvenston, Project Manager The University of New Mexico l MSC01 1120 l 1 University of New Mexico l Albuquerque, NM 87131-0001 Phone 505.277.5431 l Fax 505.277.5433 l Farris Engineering Center, Room 1200 ne.unm.edu
