NOTES:

1. THIS SYSTEM IS A SEISMIC CLASS I SYSTEM EXCEPT AS NOTED.
2. LOCATE AS NEAR AS PRACTICAL TO PRIMARY CONTAINMENT.
3. THE CONNECTION POINTS BETWEEN )\,* AND Y.,*

RECOMBINER DRAIN LINES ANO THE 6* RECOMBINER EXHAUST LINE ARE TO BE LOCATED 12 FEET OR MORE BELOW THE ELEVATION OF THE DRAIN CONNECTIONS ON THE RECOMBINER SKID.

4. ALARMS XA-170A AND XA-1708 INDICATE RECOMBINER TROUBLE. THE INDIVIDUAL CONDmONS INVOLVED ARE ANNUNCIATED AT THE RECOMB!NER CONTROL CABINETS, EXCEPT FOR LOSS OF POWER TO THE TRICKLE HEATERS AND LOSS OF ALL POWER TO THE RECOMBINER. THE AVAILABILITY OF THE TRICKLE HEAT POWER IS INDICATED BY A LIGHT ON THE RECOMBINER CONTROL CABINETSo NO INOICA TION IS PROVIDED FOR LOSS OF POWER TO THE RECOMBINER.
5. HEAT TRACING ON SAMPLE LINES IS TO BE POWERED FROM A SAFEGUARD AC SOURCE.
6. f.t* HBB-126 AND HBB-128 DRAIN THE PIPING UPSTREAM OF THE RECOMBINER BLOWER..)\,' HBB-126 AND HBB-128 DRAIN THE RECOMBINER BLOWER CASING. BOTH DRAIN LINES SHALL CONNECT TO THE BOTTOM OF A HORIZONTAL RUN OF THE 6* RECOMBINER EXHAUST LINE..
7. THE DOWNCDMER CAP DRAIN LINE SHALL EXTEND APPROXIMATELY 8 FEET ABOVE THE DOWNCDMER CAP AND APPROXIMATELY 4 FEET BELOW THE DOWNCOMER CAP.

THE DRAIN LINE SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF 3' SCHEDULE 160 CARBON STm PIPE AND SHALL BE SUPPORTED INSIDE THE OOWNCOMER BY BUMPER GUSSETS. ONLY THE FOUR DOWNCOMERS THAT HAVE PRIMARY CONTAINMENT VACUUM RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLIES ARE CAPPED.

8. VALVES HV-165 AND HV-167 OPEN UPON RECIEPT OF A CONTAINMENT ISOLATION SIGNAL. THESE TWO VALVES, PLUS VALVES HV-160A,HV-160B ARE 0-LISTED ANO SEISMIC CLASS I.
9. REAGENT GAS CYLINDERS ANO SPAN GAS CYLINDERS ARE SUPPLIED BY PECO.
10. THE INDICATED HOSE CONNECTION IS TO BE USED FOR ILRT PURPOSES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HOSE CONNECTION SHOWN ON Pl<ID M-41. SHEET 2. AT ZONE 0,3.
11. THE INDICATED HOSE CONNECTIONS ARE FOR TEMPORARY CONNECTION OF CYLINDERS CONTAINING 07X H2 FOR H2 ANALYZER CALIBRATION.
12. THE DESIGN OF THE MOUNTING TEES FOR THE PRIMARY CONTAINMENT VACUUM RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLIES IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIAL CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS OF THE ST ATE OF PENNSYLVANIA.
13. FOR TEST CONNECTIONS ATTACHED TO SEISMIC CATEGORY I PIPING, THE PIPING BETWEEN THE SHUTOFF VAL VE AND THE CAPPED ENO OF THE TEST CONNECTIONS !S DESIGNATED AS SEISMIC CA TE GORY IIA.
14. THE INOICA TED BUTTERFLY VALVES ARE TO BE INSTALLED WITH THE FLAT SIDE OF THE DISC ORIENTED AWAY FROM THE PRIMARY CONTAINMENT.
15. VALVES HV-114 AND HV-115 ARE TO BE LOCATED OUTSIDE THE RWCU ISLOATION VALVE COMPARTMENT.
16. THE MINlllJM SEPARATION BETWEEN ADJACENT BUTTERFLY VALVES IN A PIPING RUN SHALL BE AS SPECIFIED BY THE VAL VE VENDOR. BUT SHALL BE AT LEAST ONE NOMINAL PIPE DIAMETER.
17. VALVES 1123.1124,1125 AND 1126 ARE WELDED OPEN AND INOPERABLE. THE MOTOR OPERATORS HAVE BEEN REMOVED.

t 8. FOR ALL NON-SEISMIC CATEGORY I CAPPED VENTS, ORAINS,AND TEST CONNECTIONS. DESIGN, FABRICATION, MATERIAL PROCUREMENT. ERECTION, ANO TESTING FOR ALL PIPING BEYOND THE LAST ISOLATION VALVE MAY BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DESIGN CLASS 0.

19. EACH OF THE INDICATED VALVES IS PROVIDED WITH A SEPARATE TESTABLE SEAL ASSEMBLY. WITH DOUBLE CONCENTRIC 0-RING SEALS, INSTALLED BETWEEN THE PIPE FLANGE AND VALVE FLANGE AT THE END OF THE VAL VE THAT FACES THE PRIMARY CONTAINMENT. THESE SEAL ASSEMBLIES ARE PROCURED UNDER P.O. M-182, AS NON-Q FOR A Q-LISTED SERVICE, AND ARE USED IN LIEU OF 'FLEXIT Allie" GASKETS. THE PIPE FLANGE ADJACENT TO THE TESTABLE SEAL ASSEMBLY HAS A Ya° NPT PRESSURE TAP FOR PRESSURE TESTING THE SEAL.
20. AS-BUil T CO NF I GURA TION OF LINES SHOWN ON THE PIPING ISOMETRICS REFERENCED IN FCR-17,213 IS ACCEPTABLE.
21. THE DIFFERENTIAL MOVEMENT LOOPS CPICTAILSl IN TUBING ASSOCIATED WITH THE SPAN GAS AND REAGENT GAS CYLINDERS SHALL EACH CONSIST OF A 120* SPIRAL.

THE SPIRAL SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM DIAMETER OF 6 INCHES AND POINTS ON THE SPIRAL THAT ARE 360° APART SHALL BE SEPARATED BY A GAP OF APPROXIMATR Y 1 INCH.

22. THE LOCATIONS OF THE LOOP SEALS ARE ACCEPTABLE.
23. INSTALLATION IS TD BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANS! B31.1 REQUIREMENTS. THE GAS SUPPLY TUBING SHALL BE PNEUMATICALLY TESTED TO ANSI B31.I BASED ON A DESIGN PRESSURE OF 60 PSIG.
24. PRIMARY CONTAINMENT VACWM RELIEF VAL VE ASSEMBLIES CONSIST OF AN UPSTREAM VALVE DESIGNATED BY THE SUFFIX

-1 ANO A DOWNSTREAM VALVE DESIGNATED BY SUFFIX -z.

25. THE INDICATED VALVES SEAT AGAINST FLOW IN ONE DIRECTION DNL Y ANO SHALL BE ORIENTED SO AS TO PROVIOE CONTAINMENT ISOLA TIDN AGAINST FLOW FROM THE PRIMARY CONTAINMENT OUTWARD.
26. THE INDICATED VALVE SHALL BE CAPABLE OF SEATING AGAINST FLOW IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.
27. FOR CHECK VALVE 1021, REMOVE SPRING TO ACHIEVE OPENING AT LOW DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE.

.28.1' HCB-129 GOOSENECK SHALL BE LOCATED AS HIGH AS PRACTICAL INSIDE THE SUPPRESSION CHAMBER, BUT THE ELEVATION OF THE OPEN ENO SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 230'*6*. AS-BUILT ELEVATION OF GOOSENECK OPEN ENO IS USED IN EPG/SAG CALCULATIONS.

29. A WEIR OF I' X Ya° CARBON STEEL PLATE WILL BE WELDED TO THE TOP OF THE CAPPED OOWNCOMERS TO PRECLUDE WATER OF A DRYWELL FLOOD FROM ENTERING THESE OOWNCOUERS PRIOR TO ENTERING THE OTHER DOWNCOMERS.
30. IN THE CONTAINMENT HYDROGEN RECOMBINER ASSEMBLIES C1AS403 & 1BS403l BECHTEL HAS REPLACED TRANSMITTERS PT-D0-102A&B. FT-00-102A&B, FT-D0-101A&B AS WELL AS THERMOCOUPLES AND INSTRUMENT TUBING. OET AILS OF THE TUBING INSTALLATION, INCLUDING ASME CODE BOUNDARIES, ARE DESCRIBED IN 8031-M-58 SHTS. 1&2 AS MODIFIED BY FCR M-19263F, REV. 1.
