RE: DHR Project File No.: 2021 -6860, Received by DHR: October 27, 2021 St. Lucie Plant, Units 1 and 2 Subsequent License Renewal Application (Docket Numbers: 50- 335 And 50- 389)

The Florida State Historic Preservation Officer reviewed the referenced project for possible effects on historic properties listed, or eligible for listing, in the National Register of Historic Places. The review was conducted in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, and its implementing regulations in 36 CFR Part 800: Protection of Historic Properties.

Thank you for notifying our office of the application to renew the operating license for the St. Lucie Plant, Units 1 and 2. It is our understanding that the license renewal will not require any ground disturbing activities and is, therefore, unlikely to adversely effect historic properties. If plans change and ground disturbing activities become necessary, please notify our office for further consultation.
