CALVERT CLIFFS UFSAR 16.1-1 Rev. 50 LICENSE RENEWAL

16.1 INTRODUCTION

This chapter contains summary descriptions of the Aging Management Programs (AMPs) and associated activities credited for managing the effects of plausible Age-Related Degradation Mechanisms (ARDMs) of applicable structures, systems and components (SSCs) described in the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (Calvert Cliffs) License Renewal Application (LRA). This chapter also contains summary descriptions of the Time-Limited Aging Analyses (TLAAs).

Section 16.2 presents summary descriptions of the AMPs credited for managing plausible ARDMs, of applicable SSCs, as required by 10 CFR 54.21(d).

Section 16.3 presents summary descriptions of the TLAAs identified and evaluated during the Part 54 Integrated Plant Assessment and included in the Calvert Cliffs LRA, as required by 10 CFR 54.21(d). It also contains a new TLAA that was identified during license renewal implementation.

Section 16.4 presents periodic update information as required by 10 CFR 54.37(b).
