APPENDIX 4A 4A.0 CALVERT CLIFFS REACTOR COOLANT PUMP FLOW MEASUREMENT 4A.1

SUMMARY

The reanalysis of Chapter 14 accidents under the assumption of fuel densification (CENPD-106) utilized a reactor coolant flow rate of 139.5x10 6 lb/hr. This is equivalent to an average of 92,500 gpm/pump. The analysis presented herein shows that with a measured average pump flow of 96,100 gpm the pump flow is assured to be 92,500 gpm under conditions of wors t case measurement uncertainties. The predicted pump flow is 96,665 gpm.
