AMENDMENT REQUEST FOR THE MODEL NO. MAP-12, MAP-13 PACKAGE
Dear Mr. Tate:
By letter dated March 31, 2021, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML21090A322), you submitted an application for a revision of the Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 9319 for the Model No. MAP-12, MAP-13 package. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff performed an acceptance review of your amendment request and determined it contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review.
We have established a schedule for the review and estimated that the staff may need approximately 250 hours0.00289 days <br />0.0694 hours <br />4.133598e-4 weeks <br />9.5125e-5 months <br /> to complete its review, with an additional $50,000 in contractual work support for the criticality review. The schedule allows for the staff to issue a request for additional information (RAI) in October 2020. If your RAI responses are satisfactory, and based on the staffs evaluation, the CoC may be issued in January 2021.
