Request for Additional Language to Item 2.B of the Proposed University Of Massachusetts Lowell Research Reactor Renewed Facility Operating License The University of Massachusetts Lowell hereby requests a modification to the language in item 2.B of the proposed University Of Massachusetts Lowell Research Reactor Renewed Facility Operating License. The language would modify item 7.3.b in the original renewal request letter dated October 20, 2015 (ML15293A384) to read as follows: to receive, possess, and use, but not separate, in connection with the operation of the facility, up to 100 grams of contained uranium-235 of any enrichment, in the form of neutron detectors, fission plates, foils, and solutions; The modification increases the originally requested limit of 30 grams to 100 grams for the requested additional allowance of fission plates, foils, and solutions for use in education and research activities at the facility.
