University of Massachusetts-Lowell Research Reactor Docket No. 50-223; License No. R-125

SUBJECT:

Supplement to Response Dated October 18, 2019 regarding NRC letter dated July 19, 2019 - Request for Additional Information Regarding the Renewal of Facility Operating License No. R-125 and Correction to Request for 60 day extension for specified RAI related to same.

The Response to RAI 7.4d indicated the Quality Assurance Program Manual Rev. 22, Certificate of Conformance, Configuration Record, and Test Reports were not marked proprietary and would be submitted as part of this RAI.

However, the Quality Assurance Program Manual is marked as copyright material, and the test procedure associated with the other documents is marked as proprietary. As a result, all the documents specified in response to RAI 7.4d will require an affidavit from the documents owner prior to submittal to the NRC.

A correction to the 60-day extension request in the cover letter dated 10/18/19 for certain RAI is hereby submitted. The request in the aforementioned letter indicated RAI 7.4c, 7.4a, and 7.5d. As corrected, the 60-day extension request is for RAI 7.4c, RAI 7.4d, and RAI 7.5a.

Please direct any requests for additional information regarding this submittal to Mr. Leo Bobek, Reactor Supervisor at the above address.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.

Sincerely, Leo M. Bobek Reactor Supervisor, Radiation Laboratory
