Response to HF Spiking Station #2 Assessment Report Westinghouse Electric/Columbia Plant HF Spiking Station #2 Assessment Report received on November 30, 2018 Richland County File# 51377
Dear Ms. Joyner,
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (Department) has reviewed the referenced assessment report. The following comments were generated from this review:
- 1. The disposal soil manifest needs to be submitted to the Department once the task it completed.
- 2. Based on the March 7, 2019 meeting, the Department approves the backfilling of the excavated area with Flow-fill.
Please submit the manifest once the soil is properly disposed of. Please feel free to contact me with any questlons or comments at (803) 898-0722 or at kuhnkm@dhec.sc.gov.
Sincerely,
~~- ---
