(INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-413/89-16.50-414/89-16)
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted by
W. T. Orders and M. S. Lesser on May 28,'1989 to July 1, 1989.- The inspection
included a review of ectivities authorized for' your Cataw'oa facility. At the-
conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of
your staff ider,tified in the enclosed inspection report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. ..Within-

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective _ examinations of procedures.

activities in progress.

The inspection findings indicate that certain activities appeared to violate.
NRC requirements and other activities appeared to deviate from applicable. codes

approved by the NRC.
