On February 24, 1984, a memorandum was received from L. Thompson, U.S. Atto.rney, North District of. Georgia, declining prosecution. Apparently, Main Justice considered possible prosecution from a generic standpoint as other investigations of Pullman Power surfaced. The U.S. Attorney, District l of North Georgia, responded by memorandum dated March 7,1984 indicating, although he believed the case should be declined, assistance would be offered as requested. On May 16, 1984, John Sinclair, Investigator. 01:HQ, was informed by Main Justice that they were not going to pursue the matter _ or override the i i

DOJ'S PROSECUTIVE REVIEW OF PULLMAN POWER PRODUCTS l
INVESTIGATION (2-83-005)
On February 24, 1984, a memorandum was received from L. Thompson, l l U.S. Attorney, North District of Georgia, declining prosecution. Based on the fact that both the local U.S. Attorney and Main Justice have declined to prosecute, there are no restrictions to prohibit the Region from pursuihg this matter as deemed appropriate.
