On April 29, 1983, a pending Report of Inquiry numbered Q2-83-023 regarding Alleged Intimidation of QC Inspectors by Pullman Power Piping, Vogtle Nuclear Plant was provided under cover of a transmittal memorandum which indicated possible OI interest.
On May 16, 1983, another pending Report of Inquiry numbered 02-83-026 regarding Alleged Intimidation / Harassment of a QC Inspector and Fal'sification of Inspection Records at Pullman Power Piping was provided which also indicated possible OI interest. ' On May 19 and 20, 1983, a Confidential Source was interviewed and provided additional information concerning the May 16, 1983 allegation.
On May 19, 1983, af ter a briefing of the Region II Regional Administrator and members of his staff, investigative assistance was requested to resolve allegations set forth in Reports of Inquiry 02-83-023 and Q2-83-026.
Therefore, the attached Report of Inquiry serves to close out both above referenced inquiries and these matters will be consolidated into the Investigation Report number 2-83-005.
