ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO.147TO FACILITY POSSESSION ONLY LICENSE NO. DPR YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION (TAC N0. M84519)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.147 to facility Possession Only License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station. This amendment is in response to your application dated September 16, 1992.
This amendment deletes:
(1) the Main Coolant System water Chemistry limits and surveillance. (2) the secondary water chemistry monitoring program, and (3) the requirements for oxygen monitoring of the Waste Gas Holdup System.
These changes reflect the permanently shut down and defueled status of the
- plant, A copy of our Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. Notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's biweekly federal Reoister Notice.
