UPDATE OF THE APPLICATION SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORTS-CHANGE IN PROJECTED REVIEW COMPLETION DATE (TAC NOS. L32044 and L32043) l I
Dear Mr. Miller:
I By letter dated November 26,1997, we informed you that our scheduled completion date for the action was July 30,1998. We will not be able to complete the review by that date. Your
- staff has indicated that the complete response to our RAI dated June 2,1998, would be submitted by August 31,1998, and we have not received a completion date for the RAI dated July 9,1998. These delays will impact our scheduled completion date of October 30,1998 for issuing the approval for the amendment request. We are currently projecting a completion date of December 31,1998.
If there are further delays in responding to the RAls, it is possible that it could impact our ability to begin a timely review for the anticipated submittal of the Advanced Vapor Laser Isotope Separation (AVLIS) license request. Any effort by your staff to expedite the responses to our RAls would reduce this possibility.
