SALEM ATWS ITEM 2.1, " EQUIPMENT CLASSIFICATION AND VENDOR INTERFACE (REACTOR TRIP SYSTEM COMPONENTS)", GL 83-28. TAC #52855 We have completed our review of your responses to Item 2.1 of Generic Letter 83-28 for Millstone Unit 2. Our evaluation was conducted in two parts:

Part 1 - Equipment Classification and, Part 2 - Vendor Interface Programs. The Safety Evaluations, together with the reports from our contractor, EG&G Idaho, are contained in Enclosures 1 and 2 for Parts 1 and 2, respectively.

We conclude that you have met all requirements of Item 2.1 and our review is complete.
