We have completed our review of your November 7,1983 responses'to the requirements of Generic Letter 83-28, Item 2.2 (Part 1), and Item 4.5.2.

Part 1 of Item 2.2 addressed the equipment classification programs for all i

safety-related components, whereas Item 4.5.2 addressed reactor trip system reliability. Your responses were evaluated for compliance with our staff's positions as delineated in Generic Letter 83-28.

The enclosed Safety Evaluations provide our evaluation of your responses to Item 2.2 (Part 1 only) and Item 4.5.2 for Generic Letter 83-28.
