Pc: Cooper Nuclear Station In its letter dated April 8, 1987 the District described plans to provide control room position indication for Alternate Rod Insertion (ARI) solenoid valves. This commitment was acknowledged in the Staff's Safety Evaluation dated September 23, 1987. Subsequently, in its letter dated October 13, 1987 the District requested staff concurrence for elimination of ARI control room solenoid valve position indication.
