By letter dated January 13, 1988, you submitted Change Request No.10 to i

revise applicable specifications to reduce the number of incore instrument thimbles required to be operable during the first fuel cycle. However, your staff subsequently informed us that the requested amendment was no longer needed since your operators were able to repair all thimbles. Therefore, your requested change is considered withdrawn.

We have filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
